Vin Mott and the band had an amazing performance at the NJBS Blues & Brews series at Montclair Brewery on Sunday, July 23, 2023! With a lineup of talented musicians, including Vin Mott on harp, Bob Lanza on guitar, Steve Kirsty on bass, and Matt Niedbalski on drums, the energy was electrifying. And having a special guest like Johnny Charles on guitar was icing on the cake! The band played two jumping and swinging sets of blues music with songs including Walkin' By Myself, Big Boss Man, Sippin' and Sliding, She Ain't from Mississippi, Get Myself to Austin, and Ice Cold Beer - see the videos below, courtesy of Greg Lewis - thank you!
The band drew a sizable crowd -- there were plenty of swing, blues, and baby dancers in the crowd, along with Vin's family and friends and many musicians who all came to pay homage to his visit back home. The NJBS Blues & Brews with Vin Mott was a perfect way to spend a warm sunny summer afternoon – enjoying great music and cold beers in the company of friends, family, and fellow music lovers at Montclair Brewery.
